Welcome to Southern Scribbles LLC! I’m Whitney Brown McCoy, the artist behind this fun little company. I started my scribbling when I was 8 years old in Jane Shaw’s art classes in Mobile, Alabama. My art training continued at St. Paul’s Episcopal School in Mobile, and I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. At SMU, I met my husband, also an artist, and we settled in The Woodlands, Texas. So basically, I’ve never left the South, and I’ve never stopped scribbling!

I started my foray into the stationery world in 2003 when we were looking for something original for our son’s birth announcements and stationery. After designing countless cards for friends and family, Southern Scribbles was born. Our goal is to create fresh and casual designs that are just perfect for all of your occasions. We also want a personal relationship with our customers- many of our designs were born from the needs and suggestions of people like you, so if you are looking for something and don’t see it here, please let me know! We are always looking to expand our available designs.

In addition, we do custom work for those of you with a unique occasion- perhaps an adoption announcement/sip and see party, or a combination birthday party for both your one-year-old son and your thirty-year-old husband- we can help make your event special!
